ELASTIC AND ACOUSTIC ANISOTROPY OF METAMORPHIC SLATES OF KRYVYI RIG SUPERDEEP BOREHOLE

Abstract

The velocities of volumetric elastic waves of metamorphic slates of Kryvyi Rig superdeep borehole (971-5337 m) have been investigated. Determined components of the acoustic tensor and the tensor of elastic displacement have been calculate, their symmetry have been determined. The stereoprojections of the index surfaces of the anisotropy's parameters have been constructed. Analysis of parameters of elastic anisotropy was conducted.
